Words About Us

Think globally, act Locally

WHO WE ARE

Green Guard Nepal is a non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political organization working in the field of environment and biodiversity conservation since 2016. It is legally registered at the District Administration Office in Kathmandu, Nepal. Our team has expertise in anthropological, social, and ecological disciplines and works together with citizen scientists on each activity.

We work in partnership with government, non-governmental, and community development organizations, and we coordinated our efforts with individual organizations as well as the donor community. Our projects always include technical assistance to the communities we serve in order to solve their problems in conservation.

We conduct research on wildlife and other components of biodiversity to assess conservation problems. We also assist government organizations in various conservation issues, by developing innovative solutions and implementing them.  Our mission is to empower people to save this earth. Besides conducting our established educational programs we promote and participate in more global activities such as world environment day, monkey day, biodiversity day, as well as empowerment programs at the local level.

Among students and community leaders we have various interactive and debate platforms to work on sustainable development issues. Thousands of students have participated in these programs by contributing their time as well as essays, drawing competitions, and poster presentations. Much of their work is published in the Green Guard, our environmental magazine that is provided to schools free of charge.

Our Mission is to save water, animals ,environment and sustainable agriculture.
